About the role We have an opportunity for a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance EngineerAvionics to be part of our Aviation Command, State Operations & Emergency Management Command. The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance EngineerAvionics is responsible to the Technical Services Responsible Manager - Chief Engineer, and provides avionics expertise and supervision within a professional, team oriented, approved maintenance facility. All Aviation Support Branch maintenance operations are conducted in compliance with the appropriate Aviation regulatory framework. Additionally, in addition to the mentioned salary, the position occupant may be eligible for a $20,000 Skills Shortage Allowance in accordance with C202509 Skills Shortage Allowance Implementation Guidelines for a 2year period (subject to satisfying the relevant eligibility criteria). Any extension beyond the 2year period will be subject to further review and delegate approval. Total remuneration package: Base salary ranges from $107,132 to $137,177 plus employers contribution to superannuation of 12% and annual leave loading. Eligibility To be eligible to apply for this role, you must meet one of the following statuses: A permanent resident of Australia. A New Zealand citizen. Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check and obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
