In this handson role, a day in the life could look like: Responsibilities Cutting, trimming and packaging meat products as well as using different machinery Interacting with customers helping them choose the best cuts of meat for their needs Maintaining great presentation for the Butchery department Sharing your knowledge by training and developing other team members Championing Occupational Health and Safety and Food Safety practices to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors Regularly lifting up to 15kgs, bend, reach and complete repetitive movements Qualifications Hold a NZ Certificate in Trade Butchery Have a willingness to start early and work on your feet for most of your shift Be a strong communicator and effectively communicate with customers and team members Benefits Everyday Rewards team card, providing a range of benefits including discounts and bonus points for groceries and discounted online shopping delivery.
