Established and growing Sydney-based property developer builder delivering $500m+ landmark projects Overseeing commercial and contractual delivery of large-scale residential and mixed-use developments Key leadership position offering long-term stability, autonomy and progression within a high-performing construction team Play a key role in delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments for a leading Sydney property developer builder with a strong and growing pipeline. Class 2 experience ideal. Our client is a leading Sydney-based property development and construction group delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use projects that contribute to vibrant urban communities. With a strong and growing pipeline of large-scale projects across NSW, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their commercial team. Responsible for the commercial and contractual management of complex construction projects from procurement through to final account. Working closely with the Project Manager and senior leadership team, you will take ownership of subcontractor management, cost control, contract administration and commercial reporting while mentoring junior team members and contributing to best-practice project delivery. Candidate needs to have experience on new build projects in Sydney, ideally with class 2 residential experience. Years of Experience: 3 - 7 + years Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contract & Commercial Management Managing end-to-end subcontractor procurement, tender assessments and contract negotiations Preparing, administering and managing subcontract agreements Managing progress claims, variations, extensions of time and final accounts Maintaining accurate cost control, forecasting and financial reporting Ensuring contractual compliance and risk mitigation across all project stages Working closely with Project Managers to ensure commercial alignment with construction programs Providing guidance and mentorship to Assistant and Cadet Contracts Administrators Coordinating with site teams, consultants and external stakeholders Preparing detailed commercial reports for senior management Systems & Process Improvement Contributing to continuous improvement of commercial systems and procedures Ensuring accurate documentation, reporting and record keeping Supporting best-practice contract administration across the business Qualifications and Requirements: Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related discipline 3-7 years experience in a Contracts Administrator role Strong experience delivering large-scale residential and/or mixed-use projects Excellent commercial acumen and contract administration skills Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities High level of organisation, attention to detail and time management Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction cost management systems Sydney-based or willing to work across Sydney construction sites White Card required Youll be joining a well-established and respected property development and construction business offering long-term project security, strong leadership support and the opportunity to play a key role in delivering some of Sydneys most significant residential and mixed-use developments.
