In this role you will become a Road Safety Hero that is held in high esteem in our communities and vital to the safety of kids, parents, teachers, and local motorists. Shift Details Shifts fall between the school zone hours of 8:00-9:30 AM and 2:30-4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with 1.5 hour in the morning and 1.5 hour in the afternoon. School crossings require 30 hours of supervising per fortnight. You will receive an hourly rate along with superannuation, and you will also be compensated during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3. About You Youre a communityminded person who would like to contribute. Youll enjoy building community relationships, keeping kids safe while earning a weekly wage for doing something you love and enjoy. Youre reliable and prepared to show up for your community in good or bad weather. Youll display effective communication skills and be alert to potential dangers. Applicants must be 18years of age at the time of appointment. All training, uniforms and equipment will be provided. As youll be working with children on our roads, your willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment is vital.
