Opportunity We are seeking casual Community Support Workers to join our Lifestyle Choices Teams in Narrandera, Griffith & Leeton. Positions are casual with planned and unplanned coverage; flexible availability including early starts, late finish and some weekends is highly desirable. Responsibilities Foster an environment that empowers people with disability and promotes community integration. Provide support to clients to achieve their goals in volunteer work, communication, creative expression, living skills, community participation, sport and recreation. Research, develop and implement activities where clients can participate and develop their skills. Provide support to people with disability to look after themselves while enhancing independence and selfdetermination. Requirements Current First Aid & CPR training. Demonstrated desire to work with people living with disability and a sound understanding of how to best assist them to live a life of their choice.
