Our culture is built on teamwork, quality and customer focus. About The Role Were looking for a qualified Carpenter to join our Home Building team in NSW. Youll be building quality residential dwellings as part of a closeknit construction crew, working with our SHAWOOD building system. Reporting to the Carpentry Manager, this is a handson role where quality, safety and attention to detail matter every day. What You Will Be Doing Performing all carpentry duties including framing, cladding, roofing and window installation Measuring, cutting and building frames for houses, walls, windows, doors and staircases Checking the accuracy and quality of work using levels and surveying equipment Reading and analysing blueprints to determine job requirements Communicating with other trades to ensure projects are completed on time Assisting supervisors with planning, layout and installation Using a large range of hand and power tools effectively Lifting and carrying heavy materials and structures Maintaining existing structures and fittings as required Providing excellent customer service on site About You Certificate III in Carpentry (completed recognised apprenticeship) NSW Drivers Licence NSW White Card Thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS regulations and Quality Assurance systems High level of competency in measuring, cutting and installing frames, structures and exterior wall cladding Proficiency in using tools and instruments Ability to read blueprints Strong attention to detail Mathematically minded able to calculate dimensions and material requirements Problem solver and lateral thinker Great communication skills and ability to coordinate with other tradespeople Physically able to perform the practical duties of the role Desirable Current Builders Licence Current First Aid certificate What We Offer $82,400 base salary + superannuation + phone allowance ($840) + MV allowance ($16,800) Work with a worldclass residential builder using an innovative construction system A team culture built on quality, safety and cooperation How To Apply If youre a qualified Carpenter looking for your next opportunity with a qualityfocused builder, apply now with your CV.
