Job Description

Overview We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Government and Integrated Facilities Management team and play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality construction and engineering outcomes across our portfolio. Reporting to the Contract Manager, you''ll help deliver high-quality results that support our essential services. Responsibilities Leading multi-disciplinary project teams from project conversion through to construction, commissioning, handover and finalisation. Driving proactive Zero Harm outcomes and creating safe, supportive work environments where people thrive. Managing all financial aspects of project delivery including forecasting, cost control, margins, and risk mitigation. Building trusted relationships with clients, subcontractors, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless project outcomes. Ensuring compliance with project plans, schedules, procurement activities, quality systems, and contractual obligations. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Building, and/or tertiary qualifications in Project Management (or equivalent industry experience). Proven lengthy experience in site-based construction roles covering all phases of project delivery. Demonstrated background in engineering services - preferably Electrical, Mechanical, or commercial project environments. Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting revenue, profitability, and margin performance. Knowledge and application of contemporary HR, WHS, and Industrial Relations legislation and practices to support healthy, safe, and fair workplaces. Why Downer?
