AHA has secured the contract to assist the Victorian Government Department of Education (DE) to deliver the Disability Inclusion Profile to all Victorian government schools. About The Role Were looking for Facilitators to deliver the profile in the Ovens Murray DE area. Living within the Ovens Murray DE area, you should have a background in Inclusive Education and a minimum of 5 years of experience working with children with additional needs, their families, and their schools. You will be part of a team of experienced studentfocused professionals (Disability Inclusion Facilitators) who will visit schools to facilitate Disability Inclusion Profile meetings. We are passionate about ensuring the quality of our work and the wellbeing of our team. In addition to facilitating the profile meetings, you will receive extensive training and development activities: Regular shadowing provided by your Team Leader and other Facilitators Extensive initial training as well as ongoing training and development opportunities Regular quality improvement days Continuing professional support and guidance from your Team Leader Comprehensive training and support in the conduct of Disability Inclusion Profiles will be provided. Your home will be your base and you will visit schools to facilitate profile meetings. In addition to providing leave for the school holiday period, we are keen to discuss opportunities for a work structure that suits you and your family, including the option to work full time or 4 days/0.8FTE. On Offer Excellent remuneration: $110,365 salary + 12% superannuation (FTE) Permanent, ongoing role Flexible working arrangements; school visits balanced with working from home Work time aligned with Victorian school terms (work during term, not during holidays) Extensive training provided in the use of the new strengthsbased tool Ongoing training and support About You Qualifications as a Teacher Current VIT registration 5+ years of experience working in/with schools Extensive knowledge of child development, disabilities or learning challenges that students may experience Strong understanding of the principles of inclusion in education Understanding of a strengthsbased approach Experience in group facilitation Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Ability to write concise and accurate reports Openness to constructive feedback and a reflective, continuous learning mindset Excellent timemanagement skills Intermediate computer skills Valid Australian driver licence and reliable own car required for travel To Apply Please upload your CV and a cover letter outlining how your skills and experience align with the requirements of the role.
