About the Role This unique position is a handson role with real responsibility and longterm growth potential for the right person. Its an ideal position for someone: New to manufacturing who is looking for a longterm career path without needing formal qualifications Someone with production or packing experience who wants more responsibility and ownership without formal people management Youll be trusted to run your line effectively without having someone looking over your shoulder. What you will be responsible for Operating and overseeing a pack line (GIRO Girbaggers, wineglass net clip baggers, flow wrap machines) Making sure products meet quality standards Ensuring packing instructions are followed correctly Completing production and QA records accurately Identifying and fixing issues early where possible Asking for help or escalating issues when needed Working alongside a few different small teams What we value most Getting along well with others and contributing positively to the team Taking responsibility for doing things properly Noticing issues early and acting before they become bigger problems Being confident asking questions or for help when neededTaking pride in your work Skills and Experience Experience in production, manufacturing, or packing is not essential. We are more interested in attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn. However, the following will be considered during selection: Prior experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar manufacturing role Experience or knowledge of the fruit and vegetable industry Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Excellent handeye coordination and attention to detail Willingness to work in a fastpaced, physical environment Commitment to upholding health and safety standards Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results A proactive, cando attitude and teamfirst mindset Flexibility and adaptability to meet daily operational needs Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) Hours 7am 3pm, Monday to Friday Fulltime opportunity in a leading, growing fresh produce business Paid annual and personal leave Just 20 minutes from Adelaide CBD Full training provided Plenty of great produce to take home!
