KADI INVESTMENTS PTY LTD, trading as AS THICK AS THIEVES Caf , is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced culinary professional to contribute to a fast-paced dining and catering environment. Position Overview The Chef will be responsible for planning, organising, and overseeing the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently delivered to customers. Key Responsibilities Plan menus, estimate food and labour costs, and order food supplies Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation Discuss food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen and waiting staff Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on procedures Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations Assist in staff selection and provide training where required Oversee food preservation processes, including freezing and storage Qualifications & Requirements Relevant qualification at AQF level: Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma Proven experience in a similar role within a caf, restaurant, or catering environment Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure Excellent communication and leadership abilities Sound knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen operations What We Offer Supportive and professional work environment Opportunity to showcase creativity and culinary expertise Career growth within a growing business How to Apply Please send your resume and cover letter to: [email protected]
