As a trusted consultant, you''ll learn & implement creative solutions to help customers leverage Akamai''s security products.As a Security Consultant, you will be responsible for:Advocating security best practice for the customers during product integration and maintenanceBeing the central point of contact for customers & leading the integrated account team delivering customer successPartnering with the business and cross-functional project teams to review and ensure integration efficiency, high quality serviceLeveraging technical expertise & project management skills, along with periodic handson technical work to ensure customer satisfactionIdentifying service enhancements and potential problems to ensure continuous improvements to quality of customer service deliveryCommunicating with customers, internal teams and partners to share information and deliverablesDo what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:Have 5 years of relevant experience & a bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, or its equivalentDemonstrate experience in a customer-facing role within the information technology industryDemonstrate expertise in Application Layer Security, API Security, SIEM, DevSecOpsShow understanding of working with network technologies, web security or media related technologies, methodologies and/or architecturesHave knowledge in router setup knowledge, CCNP, BGP knowledgeHave a natural ability to engage, influence and build trusted relationships with customers in difficult environmentsDemonstrate experience in delivering technical projects with an ability to manage multiple prioritiesBe a good team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environmentBuild your career at AkamaiOur ability to shape digital life today relies on developing exceptional people like you.
