Overview This newly established position leads the implementation of a perioperative clinical pharmacy service at Alice Springs Hospital (ASH), focusing on improving medication management within perioperative services. The role supports improved patient safety, flow, and clinical outcomes across perioperative services in a complex, highacuity, remote environment. The position is supported by senior Heads of Department across Medical, Nursing and Pharmacy. Key Offerings Base Salary PLUS 15% Market Allowance (additional 15% paid on top of base salary). $10,000 Retention Bonus payable at every 12 months of continuous service. Professional Development Allowance based on years of completed service ($1,000 for 13 years & $2,000 for 3+ years). 12% Superannuation. Salary sacrifice options (including $9,005 general + additional packaging options). Travel and accommodation support where applicable. MondayFriday hours (8:00am 4:21pm) with a 1hour lunch break, plus participation in an oncall and weekend roster with structured orientation and ongoing support. Overtime, oncall and weekend shifts attract additional penalty payments in line with the NT Health Enterprise Agreement. Qualifications & Expectations Hospital training and strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience. Experience in perioperative or surgical settings, or a genuine interest in developing expertise. Established leader, or motivated to step into a leadership role and grow capability. Thriving in fastpaced environments requiring autonomy and advanced clinical problemsolving.
