Senior Communications and Engagement Officer,CL 0910 Temporaryup until30June 2027Sydney,Grade 9/10,$129,464 $142,665 + Superannuation Make a lasting impact with Infrastructure NSW (INSW) Join INSW and help shape a sustainable infrastructure legacy for NSW.Wereseekinga dynamic and experienced Senior Communications and Engagement Officer to lead strategic communications for the NSW Women in Construction (WIC) Program and broader departmental initiatives. This role is pivotal in advancing gender diversity in the construction sector and strengthening stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead the communications strategy for the WIC Program, aligning with NSW Government priorities to boost public awareness and stakeholder engagement. Manage media relations, including drafting releases, developing media plans for ministerial opportunities, and ensuring positive coverage. Develop and execute targeted communications and engagement plans across internal and external audiences. Build andmaintainstrong relationships with stakeholders, government agencies, and ministerial offices through regular engagement and strategic briefings. Plan and deliver impactful events that promote the WIC Program, includinglogistics, guest communications, collateral, and strategic messaging. Identifyspeaking opportunities and prepare presentations, speaking notes, and manage approvals. About You You hold tertiary qualifications in communications, media, marketing, or a related field, orpossessequivalent experience. You bring a proventrack recordin managing complex communications initiatives, balancing competing priorities, and delivering high-quality outcomes under pressure.
