As a Registered Nurse, you will provide highquality nursing care, develop your clinical capability over time, and contribute to safe, effective service delivery within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities Assess individual patient and client needs, and plan, implement, or coordinate appropriate care. Deliver direct personcentred nursing care and individual case management with increasing autonomy. Coordinate care with other disciplines and agencies to meet patient healthcare needs. Participate in quality improvement activities that promote safety, minimise risk, and support best practice. Provide ward or team coordination on a shiftbyshift basis where required. Contribute to managing challenging behaviours through appropriate procedures. Provide health promotion and education to patients, families, and carers. Support student learning, new staff orientation, and graduate preceptorship. Participate in evaluative research activities and apply evidencebased guidelines to improve outcomes. Offer guidance and review decisions made by students, Enrolled Nurses, and less experienced Registered Nurses. Who Are We Looking For? Are you a Registered Nurse (or eligible for registration) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding or eligible to hold a current practising certificate? Do you have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice, aligned with professional standards? Are you committed to continuous professional development as you grow from a novice to a proficient practitioner? Do you have experience working effectively with Aboriginal consumers in a culturally safe and respectful way? Are you confident in delivering personcentred care while accepting accountability for your own practice and delegated activities?
