St Patrick''s College, Prospect, TAS Learning Support / Teacher''s Aide Contract Type: Casual/Relief Position Applications Close: 17 December 2026 Role Overview Collaborative and enthusiastic individuals, strongly committed to the ethos and practices of Catholic Education, are invited to apply for 2026 Relief (casual) Teacher Assistant opportunities. As a Teacher Assistant at St Patricks College you will deliver quality educational support to students to enable enhanced learning outcomes. You will provide support to teachers in the delivery of defined educational programs and activities and interventions for students, with particular emphasis on students with additional needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024. Candidate Profile Ability to relate to students with varying needs. Effectively support teachers in delivering studentfocused learning outcomes. Strengths in fostering innovation, creativity, and a passion for learning within students. Can perform effectively in environments with competing demands. Commitment to encourage excellence in academics, cocurricular, personal development and an educational journey that empowers personal student successes. Strong literacy and numeracy skills to support students with their learning. High standards of professionalism, personal integrity, discretion, and resilience. Ability to interact and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, colleagues, and the broader College community. Flexible in availability, with casual relief hours available within school hours (8:303:20), Monday to Friday, with potential involvement in other school activities such as excursions and camps.
