A fantastic opportunity awaits you to join our innovative, progressive and caring team.The Clinical Manager is responsible for leadership provision to a multidisciplinary clinical mental health team (approx. 6 FTE) within the Adult Community Mental Health Service. The purpose of the Clinical Manager role is to:Lead, direct and coordinate consumer care. Ensure clinical practice is safe and efficient, maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.Lead and coordinated the clinical team. Monitor the business and management functions and processes within the team.The Clinical Manager ensures that the team provide comprehensive strengths based assessments with consumers and the formulation of time limited packages of care signed off by consumers and their care givers. These packages will detail the clinical mental health services and other wraparound supports to be provided. They will also oversee the provision of high quality evidence based clinical services including assessment, care co-ordination, intervention, liaison and review as part of a multidisciplinary team for adults referred to the service with a mental illness or disorder. The Clinical Manager maintains responsibilities for personal and professional development by participating in training/education activities, and performance reviews in order to continuously improve the level of and quality of service. Manage delegated financial responsibilities, through the development and maintenance of appropriate strategies and effective allocation of resources, to ensure optimal health outcomes are managed within budget. Social Worker eligible for membership of AASW or Occupational Therapy with current registration with AHPRA. Registered Nurse/Midwife with current unrestricted registration with AHPRA and meet the requirement for NUM 1 grading under the NSW Public Health System Nurses'' and Midwives'' State Award. Psychology registration with the PsyBA, along with completion of 12 months at the 9th year of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologists.
