Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturing business in their search for a CNC Setter/Operator to work in Liverpool Job Details Pay: Competitive Basic Salary Hours of Work: Monday to Wednesday, 05:55-17:40 (11.75 hours per day, 35.25 per week) Duration: Permanent Benefits: Ride to work scheme (after 6 months service) Breakdown cover Employee assistance programme including remote GP appointments and mental health support High street discounts and perks portal X4 salary life assurance Auto enrolment pension (5% employee / 4% employer) 15 shift holidays (equivalent to 25 days per year) rising with service Medical cover Job Role The CNC Setter/Operator will be responsible for setting and operating an Okuma 5axis vertical machining centre to manufacture highprecision components. The role involves producing specialist seals using advanced elastomers and engineering plastics, ensuring strict quality standards are met. Working from detailed engineering drawings, the operator will utilise probing systems, CMM, and optical inspection equipment to maintain fine tolerances. This role requires a strong focus on precision and quality within a modern manufacturing environment. The technician will primarily work with Mazak Integrex machines, producing highquality components from stainless steels and heatresistant super alloys to extremely fine tolerances. Duties include setting multiaxis CNC machinery, interpreting technical drawings, performing quality checks using hard gauging and CMM equipment, and ensuring all components meet strict engineering standards.
