About The Role The Senior BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting on-premises and cloud-based system integrations across HammondCares application and data landscape. Key Responsibilities Integration Design & Development Design, develop, and maintain on-premises, cloud, and hybrid integrations across enterprise systems Build and maintain integrations using tools such as SSIS, Microsoft Fabric components (Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks), Azure Data Factory, APIs, and iPaaS platforms (Workato) for SaaS and event-driven integrations Develop API-based, file-based, database, and event-driven integrations as required Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, and data governance standards Data Quality, Reliability & Performance Monitor and support integration workloads across on-prem and cloud environments Implement robust error handling, logging, alerting, and retry mechanisms across all integration platforms Troubleshoot and resolve issues spanning network boundaries, authentication models, and system dependencies Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose integration solutions Support integration between internal systems and third-party SaaS platforms using various tools Collaborate with business and infrastructure teams to support end-to-end data flows DevOps, Governance & Documentation Use version control and CI/CD practices to manage integration assets across on-prem and cloud platforms Document integration architectures, data mappings, schedules, dependencies, and operational support procedures Ensure integrations comply with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements Benefits NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax-free) plus meals and entertainment benefit (up to $2,650 tax-free) Additional leave purchase options and 14 weeks paid parental leave Flexible working options, including hybrid arrangements Discounts on everyday products and services Discounted healthcare memberships access to a network of fitness centres and pools for employees and families Free access to independent counselling support for employees and families Health & wellbeing programmes Reward & recognition programmes Referral bonuses Career and professional development opportunities About You Commitment to engage and align with HammondCares Christian mission, motivation, and mission in action Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role in a fast-paced environment Relevant IT / Computing Science / Data Analytics / Data Science background Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, troubleshooting, and supporting integration and Fabric ingestion pipelines (5+ years) Hands-on experience using Python for API integrations, data transformation, automation, validation, and bespoke processing (5+ years) Practical experience with SSIS (on-prem) and Azure Data Factory (cloud) to build and support hybrid integration workflows (3+ years) Experience using Workato (or similar iPaaS tools) to deliver SaaS, event-driven, and workflow-based integrations (3+ years) Experience ingesting and preparing data in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, pipelines/notebooks) to support Power BI and enterprise analytics (3+ years) Post-graduate qualifications in management and business administration or technology discipline (desirable) Professional certifications in project management, data architecture, ITIL, analytics, or related accreditations demonstrating a commitment to lifelong learning (desirable) Pre-Employment Checks All shortlisted applicants will be asked to consent to a criminal record check and reference checking.
