We are seeking an experienced OHS Representative and Labourer to join our team at M1 Traffic & Labour Services Goulburn Valley in Echuca, Victoria. This ongoing position provides onsite support and safety oversight for our construction projects in the local area. What you''ll be doing Serve as the designated Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) Representative, monitoring and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and procedures. Provide general labouring support to construction crews, assisting with a variety of manual tasks as required. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or concerns to management. Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to OHS matters. Promote a strong safety culture and encourage safe work practices among all team members. What were looking for Previous experience as an OHS Representative or in a similar safetyfocused role within the construction industry. Minimum of 5+ years experience as an OHS Representative in the construction industry. Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices. Ability to effectively communicate safety information and policies to diverse teams. Proven track record of identifying and mitigating workplace hazards. Handson experience with general construction labouring tasks; minimum of 1+ years experience. Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping skills. Collaborative team player with a proactive, safetyfirst mindset. Hold a White Card and OHS Representative Certificate. Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
