H&R Block is Australias leading tax services company with over 400 offices across the country. We prepare around 700,000 tax returns for Australian taxpayers each year. Administration Assistant Casual, seasonal position during the busy tax season at H&R Blocks Wangaratta office. This role is ideal for people returning to the workforce or looking to earn extra income. Duties Include Greeting clients when they enter the office Answering telephone and email enquiries, making appointments, and providing basic information about services and fees Setting up clients in our software system and downloading information from the ATO so it is ready for our tax specialists to meet with the client to prepare their return Collecting payments from clients, issuing receipts, and banking duties as required Following up with clients on outstanding documents needed to complete their tax return Assisting in keeping the office neat and tidy, including maintaining the appearance of the premises to H&R Block standards What We Are Looking For Previous work experience in office administration Friendly people with strong customer service skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software products quickly Flexibility to work a variety of different shift times depending on local office needs Police Check clearance MyID access (and a smartphone to enable you to log into the ATO portal This is a casual, seasonal position hours may vary from full time to 23 shifts per week depending on local office needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
