Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Hours per fortnight: 72 Job Category: Nursing - Registered Nurse (Div 1) Req Id: 8144 Develop your skills in a specialist service providing care in consumers own homes Permanent Part Time | 72 hours per fortnight Busy and varied work in a dynamic and supportive team environment About The Role As a Grade 3 Registered Psychiatric Nurse within the Mental Health Hospital in the Home (MHHITH) service, you will deliver acute, hospital-level mental health care in consumers homes as part of a progressive alternative to inpatient admission. MHHITH is a key component of the MHDAS acute care continuum, sitting alongside inpatient units, crisis assessment teams, and community services. It enables consumers to receive intensive, shortterm treatment in their own environment, supporting recovery while reducing hospital admissions. This model is a direct outcome of the Royal Commission into Victorias Mental Health System, positioning MHHITH as a flagship reform service within MHDAS.
