We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to take ownership of planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities across site operations. This role is critical in ensuring plant and equipment reliability, driving preventive maintenance strategies, supporting shutdowns, and improving overall asset performance while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards. Role Responsibilities Develop, manage, and adjust preventive and reactive maintenance schedules Generate, track, and close work orders within the CMMS (MEX) Maintain asset registers, PM plans, spare parts lists, and inventory accuracy Plan and coordinate major shutdowns and maintenance projects Estimate labour and material costs prior to approval and procurement Raise purchase orders, GRVs, and reconcile invoices per procedures Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal maintenance teams Create and maintain clear maintenance procedures and manuals Ensure statutory inspections, compliance reporting, and safety standards Provide visibility of equipment performance and overall effectiveness Drive continuous improvement through RCA and problem-solving Act as a liaison between maintenance, operations, procurement, and finance Candidate Requirements Background in electrical or mechanical trade with maintenance planning exposure Experience using CMMS/asset systems (MEX, SAP, or similar) Strong planning, scheduling, and preplanning capability Solid understanding of preventive maintenance strategies High safety awareness and commitment to WHS standards Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Commercial awareness with cost and budget control experience Ability to lead by example and influence operational teams Strong problemsolving, decisionmaking, and analytical skills This is an opportunity for a proactive Maintenance Planner to play a key role in asset reliability, operational performance, and continuous improvement within a highly operational environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
