The Role This full-time position based between two depots in Terrey Hills and Mount Kuring-gai will suit an Aircon Technician who has the ability to maintain and repair our bus fleet to ensure we can continue connecting people and places safely. Responsibilities Perform installations, service and repair on HVAC systems Carry out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and CDC maintenance programs Identify, test and repair refrigerant leaks and perform system evacuations, re gassing and performance testing Ensure all work is completed in compliance with WHS, environmental and refrigerant handling regulations Accurately complete maintenance records, defect reports and service documentation Work collaboratively with operational and maintenance stakeholders Qualifications Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent trade qualification) Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence Experience with vehicle or fleet HVAC systems highly regarded Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Ability to work independently across multiple sites Certified Aircon and refrigeration license Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Strong understanding of vehicle structure and bodywork Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Heavy vehicle experience MR or HR driver''s licence or willingness to obtain The ability to adhere to regulation guidelines The ability to establish and maintain good working relationships The Benefits Earn between $46.44 per hour depending on skills and experience Potential to earn: $95,000 - $115,000 annually Training and development opportunities Weekly Tool Allowance Novated lease options for a new car Discount gym membership Save on health insurance Access to hundreds of savings including your weekly groceries CDC NSW is committed to achieving a diverse workforce and we encourage applications from all diversity groups and ages such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTI, people with disabilities, religious beliefs and ethnicity.
