Maintenance Fitter FMCG Manufacturing (Weekend Shift | Permanent | Circa $180,000 + Super) Location: Erskine Park area, Western Sydney We are partnering with a leading FMCG manufacturing business within a globally backed food production organisation. The site operates a high-volume, fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and continuous improvement. About the role Permanent Maintenance Fitter position within a high-volume FMCG environment Responsible for breakdown response, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability Handson, autonomous role within a supportive maintenance team Focus on minimising downtime and improving plant efficiency Shift pattern Friday: 6am 2pm Saturday & Sunday: 6am 6pm Monday: 6am 2pm Key responsibilities Fault finding and breakdown response across packaging, conveying, palletising and food processing equipment Carrying out preventative maintenance and routine inspections Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing corrective actions Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and pneumatic schematics Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Ensuring all work is completed in line with WHS and quality standards About you Trade qualified Fitter & Turner (Australian recognised) Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG or food manufacturing Strong background in preventative maintenance and breakdown response Welding skills (TIG and/or Stick desirable) Experience with power transmission systems and pneumatics Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently Strong communication skills and a teamfocused attitude Commitment to safety and continuous improvement Whats on offer Competitive annualised salary package circa $179,000 inclusive of weekend allowances Permanent fulltime position in a stable FMCG environment Supportive team culture with strong technical leadership Ongoing training and development opportunities Onsite parking and modern facilities Employee benefits including wellbeing initiatives and retail discounts If you are an experienced Maintenance Fitter seeking a stable weekendbased role within a highvolume manufacturing environment in the Erskine Park area, please APPLY NOW or contact us for a confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
