The Role Our Support Service Workers provide all hospitality aspects of our Aged Care home such as catering, cleaning and laundry services. You will build strong relationships with our residents, families and Care Staff, contributing to the optimisation of resident choice and creating a strong sense of home in accordance with our values supporting our residents quality of life. Competitive hourly rate (inclusive of casual loading) + 12% Super Casual opportunities You will work as a Support Services Worker, assisting with kitchen duties & cleaning functions Not for Profit Salary Packaging options of up to $15,900 Tax Free, plus $2,650 Meals An Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your immediate family Onsite & Online career development and programs Flexibility Range of shifts available to suit your lifestyle Award-winning culture programs What you will do Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks Assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties Distribution of meals to residents and dining room services All aspects of cleaning throughout the resident rooms and facility Completing required documentation and reporting Ensure handwashing supplies are available and replenished Contribute to an effective laundry service including item checking and labelling What you will bring Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an Aged Care setting (not essential) Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Currently hold an NDIS Check (or willing to obtain) An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential If youre ready to bring your expertise to a role that combines meaningful work with operational excellence, wed love to hear from you!
