Due to ongoing growth, we require a Metal Fabricator to join our team.We are seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator preferentially with road sweeper knowledge, but not essential.ResponsibilitiesFabricate metal components for street and industrial sweepers.Repair worn or damaged parts such as hoppers, chutes, frames, guards, and brackets.Weld and assemble steel and aluminium components.Modify existing equipment to improve performance or durabilityRead basic drawings, measurements, and job instructionsUse workshop tools and machinery to cut, bend and shape metalInspect finish work to strength, fit and qualityFollow safety procedures, keep workshop tidy and clean.Requirements and ExperienceWhat youll need:Possess initiative and a strong work ethic.Commitment to safetyExcellent planning and organizational skillsThe ability to work unsupervised and make a proven contribution to a team environment.QualificationsCertificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade or EquivalentMinimum 5 years'' experience in a Metal fabricatorStay Safe While Job HuntingWe vet all employer accounts and do our best to keep job ads safe, but scams can still occur.
