Applications close: 20th May 2026 Maintenance Officer Location: Geelong region Wallington and Belmont. Full-time, ongoing. Monday to Friday plus occasional out-of-hours. Availability to travel between multiple sites. About the role We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to support the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of our healthcare facilities. This handson role involves reactive and planned maintenance, minor renovations, refurbishments, and daytoday building services support across one or more sites. You will work closely with site managers, the Building Services team, and external contractors to ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard and remain safe for residents, staff and visitors. This role requires flexibility to travel between multiple sites and, on occasion, work outside standard hours to meet operational needs. Key Responsibilities Perform and coordinate building repairs and maintenance.Support minor renovations and refurbishments.Conduct carpentry, patching, painting, and basic plumbing repairs.Maintain heating/cooling systems, fire services, kitchen appliances, pools, and plumbing.Manage contractors and stock lists of tools, spares, and consumables.Assist with furniture transfers and general handyperson tasks.Ensure safety and defectfree environments for residents.Use Microsoft Office and industryspecific software. What Youll Need Trade qualification in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Carpentry, or related field.Minimum 5 years experience in building maintenance (aged care or commercial).White Card.COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses).2026 Influenza vaccination.NDIS Check (includes Police Clearance).Working with Children Check.Current Victorian Drivers Licence.Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.Proof of eligibility to work in Australia.
