At Citi, we value internal mobility, and career growth is not a question of if, but when. Citi is looking for Summer Analysts to join its Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in Sydney. The ECM team works in partnership with the advisory and coverage teams to advise public and private companies, entrepreneurs, and financial sponsors on originating, structuring, executing, and syndicating equity financings such as initial public offerings, followon capital raisings, block trades, convertibles, and other equitylinked financings. The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by facilitating equity capital formation. The 10week internship starts with an intensive training program that includes orientation sessions coupled with onthejob training. Training will cover advanced accounting concepts, financial modeling and valuation techniques, and an overview of Citis key financial products. You will also meet and network with Citi professionals from all parts of the bank through social events over the course of the summer, providing the opportunity to hear peoples experiences and learn more about the firm. Topperforming Summer Analysts will be hired to join the following years Graduate Analyst Program in 2028. Responsibilities Compile, analyse and assimilate financial information. Research marketmoving events and relevant live deals, and prepare clientready presentation materials to update on the capital markets. Become familiar with ECM products and play a fundamental role in deal preparation and execution. Understand the market factors and parameters for pricing an equity offering in the real world. Work hard, be proactive, and contribute to the team in a dynamic and stimulating work environment. We want to hear from you if You are in your penultimate or final year of university pursuing a degree in any discipline. Have strong numerical and analytical skills, with basic knowledge in finance and accounting. Have adaptability and resilience to work in a highpressure environment, with the capacity to multitask. Have intellectual curiosity and proactive eagerness to learn. Possess strong attention to detail with commitment to accurate and highquality work product. Are a team player with excellent communication skills. Have competent PowerPoint and Excel skills. Are passionate about capital markets.
