Oral Health Therapist / Dental Hygienist No late nights | No weekends | Opportunity to increase days in the future SWC Orthodontics is seeking a warm, capable and clinically motivated Oral Health Therapist or Dental Hygienist to join our specialist orthodontic team across our beautiful practices in Claremont and Jandakot. About the Role Working closely with our Specialist Orthodontists and broader clinical team, you will be involved in the delivery of specialist orthodontic care across all stages of the patient journey. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys clinical variety, patient interaction, digital workflows and being part of a team that is committed to excellence. Responsibilities Providing orthodontic clinical care within your scope of practice Assisting with fixed and removable orthodontic appliances Supporting patients with oral hygiene, treatment compliance and confidence throughout treatment Taking high-quality orthodontic records, including clinical photographs, radiographs, intra-oral scans and other digital records Supporting digital orthodontic workflows, including SureSmile, Invisalign, AI-calibrated indirect bonding, CBCT-based assessment and digitally planned treatment systems Monitoring patient progress and assisting with the delivery of carefully planned treatment outcomes Maintaining accurate, detailed and timely clinical records Upholding infection prevention and control protocols, clinical governance standards and practice policies Working collaboratively with orthodontists, treatment coordinators, dental assistants and administrative team members to provide a seamless patient experience Orthodontic experience is highly regarded, although not essential. We are very happy to support the right person in developing confidence and capability within specialist orthodontic practice. About You We are looking for someone who is clinically thoughtful, personable, reliable and genuinely committed to patient care. Qualifications The successful applicant will ideally have: Qualification as an Oral Health Therapist, Dental Hygienist or Dental Therapist which are registerable in Australia. Current AHPRA registration At least one year of post-registration clinical experience Appropriate training, authority or eligibility to take radiographs, where applicable Strong clinical skills and excellent attention to detail Clear, confident and compassionate verbal and written communication skills A warm and professional manner with patients, parents and families Strong organisational skills and good time management A positive, flexible and team-focused approach Confidence with digital systems, or a willingness to learn An interest in orthodontics, technology and continuous professional development Most importantly, you will enjoy being part of a friendly, professional and values-driven team where your contribution is recognised and appreciated.
