Requirements for this role: Flexible hours available More than 4 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $80,000 - $130,000 per month About the Role Necessity Health is seeking a highly experienced Lead Osteopath to join our multidisciplinary clinic in the Illawarra Region. This is a senior clinical and leadership position responsible for managing complex cases, mentoring clinicians, and contributing to service development and clinical standards. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care while supporting team growth, clinical standards, and patient outcomes within a collaborative environment. We also work closely with our sibling company, Necessity Kids, creating additional opportunities to expand your clinical scope. Key Responsibilities - Manage complex musculoskeletal presentations - Provide clinical leadership and oversight - Mentor and supervise junior clinicians - Contribute to clinical governance and protocols - Support team development and performance - Collaborate across multidisciplinary services Essential Requirements - Minimum 5 years clinical experience as an Osteopath - Demonstrated experience in a senior, lead, or managerial Osteopath role - Bachelor or Masters degree in Osteopathy - Current general registration with the Osteopathy Board of Australia (AHPRA) - Advanced competency in musculoskeletal assessment and manual therapy techniques - Proven ability to manage complex cases independently - Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills - Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team - Commitment to evidence-informed practice and ongoing professional development Desirable - Experience in paediatrics, pregnancy care, or sports injury management - Dry needling qualification - Experience working within a multidisciplinary clinic setting - Interest in contributing to service development or clinical education About Necessity Health Necessity Health is a multidisciplinary allied health clinic based in the Illawarra, combining hands-on therapies with exercise-based rehabilitation.
