38 hours per week Temporary until 30 June 2028 Location: Cooma or Queanbeyan Advisory & Technical Grade 5| Salary from $99,938.00 plus super and leave loading About the role The Land Services Officer delivers community-based projects and frontline services, fostering stewardship and communities of practice while providing advice, emergency management, and program monitoring to support healthy, productive landscapes. Werelooking for people with a strong interest in agriculture and natural resource management to partner with landholders in delivering community-focused outcomes. To be successful in the role you will need: Previousrelevant experience and/or qualifications in Natural ResourceManagementand/or Agriculture with some project management experience. Ability to providetimely,accurateadvice to our customers and to interpret legislation, The ability and willingness to travel to perform field work such as inspections and assessments in remote locations Demonstrated interest in vegetation management and/or agricultural productivity projects A genuine interest in natural resource management and rural industries Ability to work from one of the specified locations and undertake field-based work asrequired About You To be successful in this role, our ideal candidate will have the following: A Current NSW Class C Driver A degree in environmental, agricultural, natural resource management, and/or equivalent knowledge and experience Strong project management skills and knowledge Excellent organisational skills and experience in coordinating projects and activities Excellent communication skills to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders and build partnerships Ability and willingness to undertake a police check and medical clearance if required Applying for the role Apply online by submitting a current resume (max 3 pages) and brief cover letter (max 2 page) that outlines your skills and experience relevant to the role.
