The team is known for its practical, client-focused approach and supportive culture, with a strong emphasis on developing talent and providing hands-on experience.As a paralegal in our Smarter Recovery Solutions team, you will:Manage your own debt recovery files end-to end (with supervision)Prepare and file court documents in all jurisdictions and become confident with procedural requirementsAssist with and gain exposure to all forms of enforcement, including bankruptcy and winding up applications (training to be provided)Have direct contact with clients, providing timely and practical updatesWork closely with a collaborative and supportive team in a fast-paced environmentDevelop strong practice and time management skillsAbout YouYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:1+ years experience as a paralegal, ideally with exposure to either dispute resolution, litigation, insurance or debt recovery;A working knowledge of court processes, procedures and documentation;An interest in debt recovery and insolvency related matters (training provided);Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing deadlines;excellent attention to detail;clear and concise communication skills (written and verbal); anda proactive attitude and willingness to learn.About UsAt Hall & Wilcox, we deliver outstanding legal services to corporate, public sector and private clients, both Australian-based and those offshore doing business in Australia.
