About Us Parttime 30.4 hrs | SCHADS Level 4 Make a real impact in the lives of young people across the Coolum and Noosa communities. As a Youth Community Programs Facilitator, youll deliver engaging, strengthsbased programs that support wellbeing, connection, learning and opportunities for faith exploration. This role is embedded within local Salvation Army Corps, combining specialist youth practice with the trusted presence of our community hubs. About The Role Build strong relationships with young people, families, schools and community partners, delivering a mix of schoolbased programs, community initiatives and Corpsbased activities. Your work will help young people feel supported, empowered and connected to meaningful pathways. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain relationships with local schools, families and community partners Deliver evidencebased group programs (ERIC, PLP and other wellbeing, life skills and relationship programs) Apply traumaaware, psychologically informed practice aligned with the Youth Services Model of Care Elevate youth voice and support youth leadership in program design and Corps life Contribute to Corps ministries and create invitational opportunities for faith and spirituality exploration Coordinate enterprise and learning activities (e.g., barista training, nursery, permaculture projects) Support the Drive for Life program, including volunteer recruitment, mentoring and learner driver support Represent TSA at community events and participate in local youth alliances and interagency networks Ensure safeguarding, duty of care and WHS standards are upheld across all programs What Youll Bring Certificate IV in Youth Work (or equivalent) Minimum two years experience supporting young people and families in community, education or faithbased settings Experience in group facilitation, mentoring and program delivery Ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative, partnershipdriven environments Understanding of traumaaware practice and psychologically informed approaches Desirable: Cert IV in Training & Assessment, youth ministry or chaplaincy qualifications Other Requirements Current Drivers Licence Working With Children Check / Working With Vulnerable People Registration The Salvation Army is an Equal Opportunity Employer who provides an inclusive work environment and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
