Demonstrating expertise in contemporary clinical practice, you will share your knowledge of the highest standards in person centred care, empowering your team to deliver advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents. You will liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members to ensure excellence in personalised care. Working closely with a supportive Clinical Manager, your role is pivotal in promoting a culture of service delivery that enhances the lifestyle experiences of residents. Youll champion a strong teamwork approach to residents care, providing mentorship and guidance to your team of Registered Nurses, Enrolled nurses, Personal Carers, Lifestyle Officers and Allied Health staff. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect. What will you bring to the role? Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years'' experience in Aged Care Demonstrated competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical governance and assessment, and relevant documentation Strong leadership, communication and people management skills Understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care environment, Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of care minutes Proven track record in understanding and meeting the requirements of accreditation You will be confident and competent with being accountable for the clinical care provisions Proactive and energetic approach in managing your time effectively Approachable and self-assured communication style Demonstrated high level skills in wound management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care (desirable) Southern Cross Care Queensland is a proud Equal Opportunity Employer.
