Casual Registered Nurse position at VMCH MulgraveExcellent Not for Profit Salary PackagingFriendly team environment and great working conditionsAbout the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and self-motivated Registered Nurse, your focus will be to ensure the provision of high-quality care to our residents to meet their daily care needs by demonstrating professional and collaborative practice and providing supervision and direction to Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) whilst ensuring they are empowered to do as much as they can for themselves.About youCurrent AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse, with relevant qualification and experience.Experience assessing Aged Care Residents and formulating Care PlansUnderstanding and working knowledge of Commonwealth, State and / or Territory legislation and nursing practices.An understanding of and ability to ensure compliance with residential Aged Care Standards, AN-ACC requirements, Occupational Health and Safety, food safety and other professional legislative requirements2 years''+ experience as an RN is required for this roleFirst Aid and CPR CertificateAbility to communicate (verbally and written) effectively and compassionately with residents, families, employees and volunteersInterpersonal skills, patience, common sense and a strong ethos of client serviceStrong initiative and ability to work without supervision and be self-motivatedProficiency utilising information technology, with well-developed computer skills including MS OfficeAfternoon and Night shifts currently availableWhy VMCH?Because the people we employ make it a great place to work!
