About The Role This opportunity is suited to professionals who enjoy working in structured environments while contributing to meaningful outcomes for the community. You will play a key role in supporting privately appointed financial representatives by ensuring they understand and meet their legal and financial responsibilities. The position involves managing a portfolio of cases, providing guidance on financial administration, and reviewing decisions to ensure they align with the best interests of the individuals being supported. You will also act as a key point of contact, offering advice and escalating complex matters where required. Position Client Service Officers x 12 - $40.80/hr + super Location Parramatta, Wollongong or Newcastle Working Arrangement Onsite (5 days per week) Start Date ASAP Duration 5 weeks with possible extension Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload involving financial oversight and client support activities Provide clear guidance to external financial representatives on obligations and compliance requirements Review financial decisions to ensure alignment with legislative and ethical standards Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting in line with policy frameworks Respond to enquiries via phone and shared inboxes in a timely and professional manner Participate in a rotating phone roster across standard business hours Identify and escalate complex or high-risk matters to senior team members Conduct quality checks on financial documentation and reporting submissions Build effective relationships with stakeholders including clients, families, and service providers Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to team knowledge sharing About You Experience in client service, case management, administration, or financial services Exposure to working with vulnerable individuals, including people with disability or older persons Understanding of financial management principles, compliance, or governance frameworks Qualifications in finance, accounting, community services, or a related discipline (desirable) Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment Willingness to participate in call monitoring and quality assurance activities Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems Full working rights in Australia are required (no sponsorship available) Immediately start, not able to consider a long notice period Note: As a mandatory requirement for this contract role, applicants are asked to complete a compliance check and to upload their work rights verification.
