About the Role We are looking for a motivated and skilled Civil & Water Drafter to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with drafters, designers, and engineers to support a range of water infrastructure projects, including stormwater, wastewater, and water supply. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team and make a tangible impact on key infrastructure initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assemble documentation packages and drawing sets for review by the Water Drafting Manager and Senior Engineer. Review drafting processes and provide innovative solutions to design challenges. Assist with water and civil drafting projects as per workload demands. Collaborate closely with engineers and designers throughout the design process. Check and review drawings for compliance with standards, codes, and H&H quality practices. Ensure high attention to detail and consistent drafting quality across projects. Support timely delivery of project documentation. Implement and follow drafting management and QA procedures. Qualifications & Experience Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering Drafting. Minimum 3 years experience in civil and water drafting roles. Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience highly regarded). Strong understanding of engineering design drawings at all project stages. Familiarity with local council and authority design requirements. Ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience working across multidisciplinary teams including engineers, designers, and other drafters. Understanding of quality management processes in an engineering context.
