The Moriac General Store is open 7 days a week and we are looking for multiple SENIOR front of house with coffee experience and RSA to come join our tight knit, locally owned family business on a casual basis across the week. You need to available for 25-35 hours per week across multiple days including weekdays and weekends. Being only 15 -20 minutes from Torquay, Anglesea and Geelong, the Moriac General Store and Licensed Post Office is known for its great coffee, delicious food and friendly community minded staff. With the post office and bottle shop also on site, we are a busy shop that services our local community and passing trade. SENIOR FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF / ALL ROUNDER - Hospitality Award Rates including weekend penalties rates apply. COFFEE EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL! Please do not apply if you do not have coffee experience. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of coffee making experience. Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Excellent customer service skills - being able to talk to customers is a must! Experienced with coffee making Learn to be able to open/close venue independently and once trained, work autonomously Responsible Service of Alcohol Serving Cafe and General Store Customers Using Till and Eftpos Machines Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate or desire to obtain. Adding value and generating sales through upselling and second selling. Following procedures and being responsible for the overall caf / general store cleanliness. Prep and Pack takeaway orders. FOH items only. Opening and closing of general store. Cleaning and making sure that the General Store and Cafe is always presented well. Replenishing and rotating stock - Daily Money handling Creating an order list for the manager - Daily Permanent shifts for the right person What are we looking for? Besides being an experienced hospitality team member, with a bubbly personality and a real passion for great customer service in a small town, you''ll need to be able to: A minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience is required for this senior position. Able to work fast and efficiently in a busy environment. Be reliable and a team player Work as part of a team to deliver the best possible service and solutions to our customers. Able to communicate respectfully with other staff and managers. A friendly and considerate personality with the ability to have a chat with our customers. Be able to stand up for most of your shift.
