ResponsibilitiesDigital Canberra is seeking a Senior Director to lead our training and pathology area under the broad direction of the Executive Branch Manager, Application Support, the Senior Director, Pathology and Training Team will be responsible for: Leading and managing a diverse team within a designated workstream. Working with key stakeholders to ensure the digital health record and ancillary systems meets the needs of end users in accordance with established timeframes. Developing an understanding of the operational needs to set the direction for the workstream. Maintaining the scope, schedule and quality of the workstream. Setting clear expectations for team members including defining what they should do and the timing of such activities. Managing risks and troubleshooting issues. Working closely with the divisional resources to coordinate activities. Advising and supporting team members by providing guidance on issues, key success factors and lessons learned. Supporting team members to maximise the benefits of the digital health record and ancillary systems. Providing consistent communication to the team. Developing a workstream plan and reporting on progress against the plan. Ensuring activities are appropriately documented including maintaining registers. Taking responsibility for the governance group overseeing the workstream and ensuring that the activities of the team are undertaken in accordance with governance frameworks. Participating in regular meetings to ensure the activities are complementary to the broader work of the division. Leading the strategic direction and delivery of the training program required for the Digital Health Record (DHR) and ancillary systems. Engaging with stakeholders in the public health system and respond to emerging trends and business needs through the training program.
