Casual Chipper Machine Operator / Labourer Location: Nowra and surroundsEmployment Type: CasualIndustry: Arboriculture / Tree Services About the Role We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Casual Chipper Machine Operator / Labourer to assist with daily arboricultural operations. This role involves working as part of a team undertaking tree maintenance, removals, and site clean-up, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Operate and feed a wood chipper safely and efficiently Assist with general arborist tasks Maintain a clean and organised worksite Handle equipment as directed Support ground crew with site operations Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Perform basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment Requirements Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic Physically fit and able to perform demanding outdoor work Positive attitude and willingness to learn Strong awareness of safety practices White Card (Construction Induction) required Drivers licence (MR licence preferred) Desirable (but not essential) Experience in arboriculture, landscaping, or manual labour Experience operating wood chippers or similar machinery Chainsaw ticket Traffic management ticket First Aid certification What We Offer Casual hours with potential for ongoing work Supportive team environment Training provided for the right candidate Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in arboriculture Potential pathway to further training and qualifications Job Type: Casual Pay: $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
