About the Role Make a difference in the lives of people experiencing financial hardship. Parttime (0.8 FTE, 30 hours per week) opportunity until 30 September 2026. Annual salary $75,387 + 12% super, salary packaging, remote allowances. This role is part of Energy Ahead, delivered on behalf of Synergy, to assist households experiencing financial hardship to improve energy literacy, reduce energy consumption and bills, connect to appropriate energy and complementary services and support, and identify and remove barriers to accessing energy efficient appliances, technologies and goods. The successful candidate will be based either at our midland office or work from home in Northam. As an Energy Coach Country Central, your role covers outreach services in the wheatbelt and requires frequent travel and overnight stays. Responsibilities Conduct household energy assessments. Deliver tailored energyefficiency reports. Provide education and coaching to households. Provide lowcost energyefficient items to address high household energy costs. Qualifications & Experience Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to relate to a wide range of clients, including Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Experience working independently and with minimal direction. Welldeveloped computer literacy skills and ability to learn new computer systems quickly. Welldeveloped numeracy skills. High quality standards and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Flexibility, initiative and ability to work effectively under pressure. Current valid National Police Clearance (valid within one year). WA Working with Children Check. WA White Card (or willingness to obtain one). Remuneration and Benefits Maximum term contract until 30 September 2026. Annual salary $75,387 (12% super, weekend penalties offered in addition) + remote allowances.
