This is a TAFE Online role and will require online delivery. In this role you will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes. As a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy specialist you will deliver training through the Distance Learning SEE contract as part of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program, funded by the Australian Government Department of Workplace Relations (DEWR). The SEE program provides free English language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills education to eligible learners. To be eligible for positions at TAFE NSW, you need to be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Australia or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport. This is a childrelated position. A Working with Children Check is a prerequisite for anyone in childrelated work. It involves a national criminal history check and review of findings of workplace misconduct. An eligibility list, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position, and position(s) of the same classification that subsequently becomes vacant, may be filled via this recruitment. Essential Requirements A recognised* Bachelor degree (AQF 7) in education, with an LLND focus A recognised* postgraduate qualification (AQF 8 or higher) in LLND A qualification at AQF5 (or above) and relevant experience in an LLND area Note: successful applicants coming in under #3 must complete Adult Literacy and Numeracy Teaching (ALaNT) + TAELLN skillset (TAESS00026 or predecessor) within 18 months of engagement (ALaNT expected to be available from S2, 2026). Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training OR willingness to undertake our full time 14 week ''Paid to Learn'' course. Have a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry, gained no longer than five (5) years previously. Highly regarded but not essential Experience with online delivery and/or willingness to learn online tools.
