Job Description

Exposure to various industries and project scopes Based out of Garden Island, long-term work opportunity Must have the ability to obtain Defence site access Responsible for providing support of HSEQ compliance, management plans and procedures across a range of Construction and Remediation projects on Garden Island. This opportunity would best suit an experienced HSE Advisor local to the Rockingham area, who has prior experience and knowledge on government upgrade projects. The Role Assist project teams in the preparation and implementation of HSEQ documentation, including Management Plans and Risk Assessments Manage incidents and prepare investigation reports using the ICAM methodology Administer incident and hazard reporting processes in accordance with company procedures Support management in promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace culture Conduct regular HSEQ site inspections and audits, ensuring compliance and identifying improvement opportunities Coach site teams on the effective delivery of prestart meetings and toolbox talks Coordinate HSEQ training programs, including maintaining competency standards and training records Analyse HSEQ performance data, contribute to reporting, and support system updates and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain the companys Integrated Management System (IMS) to accredited standards Compile projectspecific HSEQ documentation to support tender submissions when required About You Minimum of 35 years experience in a dedicated HSE Advisor role Australian citizenship, required for access to Defence project sites Exposure to civil construction and fitout works (highly desirable) Demonstrated experience developing and reviewing HSE Management Plans, SWMS, JHAs, Audit documentation A solid understanding of Quality Management processes Strong ability to work autonomously, managing workload and supporting multiple project teams effectively Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a related discipline Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines consistently A proactive, solutionsfocused approach with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills The Benefits Ongoing rewards & recognition programs Access to everyday discounts from Australias leading retailers with Flare Paid parental leave Employee referral programs up to $2000 Salary sacrifice options Employee Assistance Program Novated lease options First Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers We are committed to building a workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion.
