Fuse Recruitment have partnered with a well-established, high-volume operation in Western Sydney, and were looking for a proven Warehouse Manager to lead their afternoon shift team. The Client: A large, modern distribution facility in Eastern Creek specialising in aluminium products for construction and manufacturing. The site operates high-volume pick, pack, and dispatch functions, handling long-length materials such as Aluminium rods and bars. It supports processes like cutting, coating, and finishing before distribution. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality control. Equipped with organised storage systems and material handling equipment, the facility services a broad customer base across the region, ensuring timely delivery and reliable supply of specialised aluminium products. Shift Times: (must be flexible to work both shift times) 2pm - 4pm 4pm 12am Must be available to work overtime What Youll Own Full responsibility for PM shift warehouse inbound and outbound operations Team leadership, performance management, and shift outcomes for a team of 15 staff Picking, packing, replenishment and dispatch accuracy across all orders Workflow optimisation and labour productivity Maintaining high inventory accuracy and stock control standards Championing a strong safety-first culture across the team Coordinating with transport, customer service, and operations teams Troubleshooting issues and keeping operations running smoothly Full set up and hand over for next day orders and deliveries Implement and monitor safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment and comply with relevant legislation. Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping related to inventory and shipments Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Conduct team meetings, provide coaching, and manage staff performance and attendance. Maintain compliance with organisational policies and external regulations relevant to warehousing activities. Prepare operational reports and analyse data to support decision-making processes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Adept at planning, organisation, and problem-solving Confidence managing performance, KPIs, and people Ability to step in, take control, and lift standards quickly Continuous improvement and safety focused mindset Experience with WMS, RF systems and structured warehouse processes Inventory control, stock take and cycle count experience LF Forklift licence Results driven mindset focused on accountability, efficiency, and results Relevant qualifications in Warehousing/Logistics qualifications are advantageous Looking for a Better-Run Operation?
