Registered Nurse-Permanent parttime position We are seeking an experienced registered nurse who is highly motivated with excellent interpersonal skills to join our team at Sydney Southwest Private Hospital, Medical/Surgical ward on a casual basis. You will play a key role within our team, delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a caring and customer service focused nurse. Do these characteristics describe you? For over 20 years our dedicated team of healthcare professionals have provided care to patients in greater western Sydney. Sydney Southwest Private Hospital has 98 patientbeds and provides a large range of medical and acute services including seven operating theatres, Angiography suite, 10 bed Intensive Care Units as well as a Day Surgery Unit, Mental Health Unit, Oncology Department as well as pharmacy and radiology services. In collaboration with a large range of accredited private specialists, Sydney Southwest Private are leaders in comprehensive range of medical and surgical specialties including neurosurgery, orthopaedics, ear nose and throat, general and plastic surgery, gastroenterology and endoscopy, gynaecology, bariatric surgery, urology and mental health services. Responsibilities Provide evidencebased nursing care Liaise with the multidisciplinary team Ensure patient and staff safety Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or endoflife needs Commit to quality patient care Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Excellent communication and customer service skills Work well independently and within a team Basic computer skills Qualifications Current registration with AHPRA Working with Children check (if relevant) Specialty nursing experience (desired) Sound clinical decisionmaking and problemsolving skills We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
