In this pivotal role, you will provide advanced, patient-centred care while exercising clinical judgement, leadership, and professional autonomy in a fast-paced environment. As a Registered Nurse and Enrolled Nurse, you will: Provide person-centred, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with scope of practise, professional standards and legislation. Conduct patient assessments, contribute to care planning, and evaluate outcomes to support safe and effective care delivery. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to drive optimal patient outcomes and ensure seamless care delivery. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and promote a culture of safety and learning. Demonstrate experience acute care nursing, emergency nursing and caring for patients awaiting results and in the EMU unit. Use of escalation pathways when needed and arranging for safe discharge home. About You Our ideal candidate will demonstrate: Desirable, 12 months experience in an Emergency department, as registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse. Knowledge and skills to develop and document a plan of care that reflects the identified needs of the patient, with co ordinating safe effective and efficient discharge planning or transfer. Proven ability to work independently (Enrolled Nurses, under direct or indirect super vision) and across multidisciplinary teams, with a commitment to mentoring and supporting team members.
