About the Role Elastotec, a respected supplier of rubber and ceramic products to the mining industry, is seeking an Operations Administrator to join our Somersby team. This is a varied, hands-on role combining office-based freight coordination and administration with practical warehouse and light manufacturing work. What You''ll Do Freight & Logistics Coordination (Office-based) Coordinate international and local freight shipments Arrange freight bookings and manage documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork) Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and customers Track shipments and resolve delivery issues Obtain quotes and manage freight accounts General Administration General office administration tasks Order office, factory, and warehouse consumables Provide backup for order processing and stock control Warehouse & Light Manufacturing (Hands-on) Packing, labelling, and preparing goods for dispatch Picking and packing customer orders Light manufacturing tasks (cutting and joining rubber/ceramic products) Assisting with stocktakes General warehouse duties as needed What We''re Looking For Essential: Computer proficiency - MS Office and comfortable learning new systems (MYOB/Acumatica experience a plus) Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks (lift up to 20kg) Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments Australian working rights Highly Desirable: Current forklift licence Current driver''s licence Experience in light manufacturing or production environment Central Coast resident Personal Attributes: Versatile - happy switching between desk work and factory floor Systematic - consistent approach to repetitive tasks Proactive - takes initiative without being told Reliable - shows up, follows through, gets things done Detail-oriented - maintains accuracy in both admin and practical tasks Team player - willing to help wherever needed Safety-conscious - follows procedures and works safely Adaptable - comfortable with variety and changing priorities What We Offer Full-time permanent position with job security Variety - no two days the same, mix of office and hands-on work Supportive team environment in a growing, stable business Opportunity to develop logistics, operations, and manufacturing skills Stable industry (mining supply sector) Central Coast location - no Sydney commute On-site parking Competitive salary package Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
