Chef / Cook Moreton Drive Early Learning Centre Are you passionate about creating nutritious, delicious meals for young children? Were looking for a dedicated and caring Chef/Cook to join our childcare team and play a vital role in supporting childrens health, growth, and wellbeing. About the RoleAs our Centre Chef/Cook, youll be responsible for planning and preparing balanced meals and snacks that meet dietary guidelines for young children. Youll ensure all food is prepared safely, hygienically, and with consideration for allergies and cultural requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare healthy, age-appropriate meals and snacks Cater for dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen Follow food safety standards and regulations at all times Manage food ordering, stock rotation, and kitchen supplies Work collaboratively with educators to promote healthy eating habits What Were Looking For Experience as a cook or chef (childcare or similar setting preferred) Knowledge of nutrition for children Understanding of food safety standards and practices Ability to manage time and work independently A positive, team-oriented attitude Relevant food safety certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Supportive and friendly team environment Consistent daytime hours (no late nights or broken shifts!)
