At the centre of big ideas.Build sectorwide datasets and insights on demand for in-house expertise across NSW GovernmentImprove data quality, processes and reporting across agenciesTemporary, Clerk Grade 7/8 ($113,574 - $125,720 per annum) opportunity up to 6 months, based in Martin Place, Sydney Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period up to 6 months.About the RoleYou will join our Expert Advisory Network (EAN) branch in the People and Workforce group. As a Data Analyst, you will support the development of a sector-wide evidence base of project demand by collecting, validating and analysing data from multiple sources across NSW Government. You will design and implement processes to capture and standardise data, ensuring consistency and quality across agencies.You will translate complex data into clear insights to inform decision-making, identify trends and gaps, and contribute to improving data collection, automation and reporting capabilities, including dashboards. Working closely with stakeholders, you will help uplift data capability and support evidence-based outcomes within the team and across the sector.To learn more about the role please review the Role Description.About the TeamThe EAN connects NSW Government teams with trusted, in-house experts from across the public sector. It provides a clear pathway to specialist capability already within government, helping agencies access the expertise they need to deliver high value work aligned to government priorities.
