About the opportunity: This is a superb senior leadership opportunity where you will have full responsibility and accountability for the safety, growth, and profitability of our concrete business across the Northern NSW region (spanning from Coffs Harbour to the Queensland border). You will effectively "own" this business unit. The region is already in great shape; your mandate is the exciting challenge of taking it from good to great. You will drive sustainable operations and work closely with our operations, technical, and logistics teams to grow margin and profit. Our customers in this region demand excellence, and you will be responsible for delivering outstanding outcomes across a diverse product range-from highly technical complexity mixes for major infrastructure to the premium decorative concrete that defines the region''s architectural landscape. Responsibilities are broad, with key result areas covering Safety (SHE), Financials (P&L), Leadership and Culture, Sales and Marketing, Strategy, and Operations Management. You will maximise opportunities with clients, foster a collaborative environment across internal teams, and ensure your business unit is recognized as a truly great place to work. About you: To succeed in this critical role, you will be a talented, energetic leader with a unique blend of strategic commercial acumen and operational expertise. Engineering and/or Commercial qualifications are desirable, backed by a demonstrated history of success in pivotal leadership positions-ideally within the Concrete, Aggregates, or related heavy manufacturing sectors servicing the civil construction industry. You are a natural collaborator and a passionate team player. You thrive on the challenge of driving business performance, possess a strong growth agenda, and have practical skills in coaching and developing the capability of your teams.
